The San Miguel Fair, celebrated in honor of the city's patron saint, is one of the main festivals in Arcos and takes place from September 25 to 29. The current structure is largely the result of 15th century reconstruction. The castle has a quadrangular plan with four towers in the corners and it is noted that on the outside there are the shields of the Dukes of Arcos.
